View Film on LGBT and Aging Through January 8
Published On: Jan 03, 2012 Gen Silent, the award winning documentary which chronicles the unique fears and isolation lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) individuals experience as they age, is streaming on the Gen Silent website and available for viewing without cost through January 8, 2012. The film features the lives and decisions of six LGBT elders in Boston, MA over the course of a year.
Stu Maddux, who directed the film and attended the screening held during the 2011 LeadingAge Annual Meeting and IAHSA Global Aging Conference in October, decided to make the film available “so that price or geographic region doesn't stop individuals around the world from hearing this important message.”
