Schervier Nursing Care Center Employee Receives Award of Excellence
Published On: Apr 03, 2013 Bon Secours New York Health System's Schervier Nursing Care Center, located in the Riverdale section of The Bronx, announced that Jennifer Giuffrida, director of social work and therapeutic recreation, has received the Award of Excellence in Clinical Practice from the Social Work Hospice and Palliative Care Network (SWHPN).
The Award of Excellence in Clinical Practice is presented to an individual in recognition of outstanding contributions to the field of palliative social work. Giuffrida was selected from a field of dedicated candidates and peers from across the country as a result of her demonstrated clinical contributions to palliative social work.
The Award of Excellence honors the distinctive influence Giuffrida has made in developing and providing services to patients and families, her leadership in the clinical supervision of others, and her innovation and sustained success in clinical service.
