General FAQs
  • The majority of convention hotels are within a 15-minute drive of both the convention centers and Logan International Airport, and within walking distance of major city sights. Boston convention centers are connected to world-class hotels with the Menino Center (formerly the BCEC) connected to the Omni Boston Hotel and adjacent to the Westin Seaport Hotel.

  • MBTA Trip Planner

From Logan Airport take the Silver Line bus: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/741/line
The World Trade Center stop is about a 5 minute walk from the Menino Center (formerly BCEC).

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority has a nifty tool called “Trip Planner” that lets you plan your T ride from beginning to end. Simply enter in your starting location at the Menino Center (formerly the BCEC) or wherever else you find yourself around Boston, and it will tell you where you need to go stop by stop to get here quickly and easily via subway train or bus. Taxi & Ridesharing

Boston is ripe with car service options. Let one of our transportation agents hail you a cab, or use any of the following services to schedule a pick up:

    • Boston Cab: 617.536.5010
    • City Cab: 617.536.5100
    • Independent Taxi (ITOA): 617.825.4000
    • Metro Cab: 617.782.5500
    • Top Cab: 617.266.4800
    • Town Taxi: 617.536.5000

    Alternative Options

Consider taking a pedicab as a fun and affordable way to explore Boston or get anywhere in the city. Boston Pedicab offers regular and pre-scheduled tours and rides at a flexible cost. Another great alternative to public transportation is Blue Bikes, Boston’s public bike-sharing system with 1,800 city bikes and 180 bike stations throughout the city, including stations directly outside the Menino Convention Center (formerly the BCEC).

  • The Menino Center (formerly the BCEC) has 1,300 parking spaces available for attendee parking daily.

To self-park ($25 and $50 for oversized vehicles), from Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive, drive past the Uber/Lyft/Rideshare pickup and drop-off area, and continue straight along the side of the building. At the end of the building, make a right and go down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left and you will see the entrance to the South Lot parking area in front of you. Accessible parking spaces are also located in this lot, closest to the building (the same parking rates apply).

If you require special parking, such as overnight parking, covered parking, or any other amenity, we recommend looking at Parkopedia which will provide details on what is available at other local garages.

  • If you require special assistance, please indicate it on the registration form. Further inquiries for scooter/wheelchair rentals can be directed to Scootaround at (888) 441-7575.

  • Please only book your hotel accommodations through the official LeadingAge Annual Meeting hotel block at the same time you register. Hotel reservations for the meeting should be made directly through our registration link. Maritz is our official registration and housing provider. Beware of room poachers who may contact you promising discount hotel rates. If you get phone calls or emails from solicitors trying to sell you a hotel room, they are not associated with LeadingAge or the city. For more information please consult the Hotel page on our website.

  • LeadingAge Registrar/Housing Company: Email: LeadingAge@Maritz.com

For assistance, please contact 1-864-208-2486 or leadingagegroup@maritz.com. Please note that reservations cannot be accepted by phone. Hotel reservation details are included within your registration confirmation email and will be sent after each reservation booking, modification, and/or cancellation. Review each one carefully for accuracy. If you do not receive a confirmation via email within a few days after any transaction, please contact the housing bureau at leadingagegroup@maritz.com.

  • When you book a hotel reservation through our registration system, we hold your reservation until October 8, at which point we distribute the names to the hotels. If you try calling the hotel about your reservation before that date, they will not yet have your information on record. Contact the hotel after October 13 to allow hotels time to process the reservations.

  • One night’s room deposit may be charged on the credit card on file by the hotel prior to check-in. Please verify these charges directly with the hotel on or after October 16, 2025.

  • Hotel rates are subject to taxes and some may also attach additional fees. Taxes are subject to change, so please check your confirmation email for details.

  • We encourage all attendees to make their hotel reservations as soon as possible. Hotels are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis when you register for the meeting. After August 21, hotel reservations will be accepted on a space-available basis. All rates are per room per night, plus taxes. If you are making hotel group reservations, please note those deadlines may be earlier.
